Which Condoms Are Best For Women?

Most condom makers stress the benefits of their condoms to men. But what about the pleasure a woman can receive if her man chooses the best condom? There is usually not much thought given to her pleasure when selecting condoms, and many women do not even know there are other, more pleasurable options out there.

Condom Options

The most commonly thought of condoms that are for “her pleasure” are the ribbed and studded condoms. Ribbed condoms have many different sizes and shapes of ridges up and down the condom. Studded condoms have tiny studs or bumps all over. The idea is that these textures create a sensation that is different than the normal feel.

The downside to these types of condoms is that they cause more friction because of the ribs and studs. This extra friction causes pain and discomfort for many women, rather than the pleasure it is intended to create.

A different type of condom intended to give a woman more pleasure are the condoms that have unique shapes and extra material at the top. Many of these condoms twist, and in some cases look like a soft-serve ice cream cone. The extra material slides up and down and twists during sex. According to many women, this type of condom is the best on the market for achieving orgasm.

Ultra thin condoms are another type that get very high ratings for pleasure from women. They are just as effective at preventing disease and pregnancy as thick condoms. In many cases, the material is actually stronger because newer, stronger forms of latex are used.

If a feeling of intimacy is what is lacking between you and your partner, these ultra thin condoms are the way to go. The thin material transmits warmth and allows the unique shapes of each person to be felt very intensely. This creates a feeling of closeness that otherwise isn’t there with thicker condoms.

Finally, you may want to consider a vibrating condom ring. These rings fit around the base of the penis and are great for stimulating your sensitive areas during sex.
